Lisa McGowen serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Long Term Care Consultants, a company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, specializing in Long Term Care sales and marketing. Ms. McGowen formed Long Term Care Consultants in 1990 to provide product development and marketing of high quality financial and specialty products.
Lisa’s education qualifies her as a Speech-Language Pathologist with an emphasis in the study of Alzheimer’s and Head Injury. She continued in the field of Education as an Audiologist and later as an Educational Administrator which bridged her transition into Business Marketing. This combination of education and talent has given Lisa the unique ability to excel in her work using all the disciplines she has studied. With a combined background in the public, private and non-profit sectors, Lisa has brought hands-on leadership, advocacy marketing, management and business development techniques to the corporate and association marketplace.
Ms. McGowen is spending much of her time providing personal and business strategic coaching, and assisting businesses, of all sizes, with brokerage formation and expansion, business planning, personal management, and agent retention. As a motivational speaker, she teaches interpersonal communication and group dynamics. Lisa’s marketing seminars and her monthly column in Senior Market Advisor have brought her national recognition.
